DEPOSIT INFORMATION

To confirm your booking we require a 20% non refundable deposit on all orders. Wedding cake orders require a $150 deposit. If a booking is made within 2 weeks of the event date,(pending on availability), full upfront payment is required. Payment secures your date in our books as we are at times fully booked and non payment of deposit can lead to your place being given to another client. Work will only commence on your order once deposit has been made based on the agreed quote and all designs approved by the client.

Deposits are payable via Direct Deposit, PayPal & credit card (1.85% processing fee applies for credit card payment) We also accept cash by appointment only.

FINAL BALANCE PAYMENTS
All orders must be paid IN FULL two weeks prior to event, – payment must be cleared into account before delivery date. If payment isn’t made prior to delivery, this may result in no cake delivery being made.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGE OF DATE

All cancellations/changes must be received in writing.

If you cancel your order deposit will be forfeited, this is due to being fully booked most of the year, having stock already purchased for your cake and administration fee.

If the date is changed, there is a $20 administration fee for each date change.

However, if Kathryn's Cake Creations have to cancel the order with you for any particular reason due to health, family or situations out of our control, a full refund will be provided.

ALLERGIES / INTOLERANCES

All our cakes contain gluten, eggs and dairy products, so are not suitable for those suffering from intolerance or allergies to these particular foods.
We do offer a small variety of Gluten Free products.  We produce all of our products with the same equipment, please be aware that our cakes may/could contain traces of nuts.
All of our equipment is sanitized to an extremely high standard. We will do everything possible to minimise the risk of cross-contamination but Kathryn's Cake Creations will not be held responsible for anyone suffering from nut & gluten allergies. It's the customer’s obligation to inform Kathryn's Cake Creations of any allergy requirements.
Non-edible items may be used as decorations or packaging for the cakes. It is your responsibility to ensure that any non-edible items are removed prior to consumption.

DELIVERY/PICK UP

All Wedding Cakes will be delivered and set up subject to availability; any arrangements for delivery may be subject to change, however prior notice will be given where possible.

It is important for Kathryn's Cake Creations to make sure that you are aware of the delicate and perishable nature of our cakes prior to making the decision of whether you want to be responsible for transporting your cake or have it delivered.

Cakes are to be collected from our premises at a pre-arranged time and date only. If you choose to pick your cake up and transport it yourself please ensure a safe, clear and flat surface to place your cake box. Strongly advise the front floor of the passenger side or in the boot of an SUV which is flat - NEVER on the front passenger seat or the back seat! I am happy to supply non-slip matting to ensure the cake box does not slip while being transported.
Make sure there are no loose objects that could fall on to the cake during transportation or in the event of emergency/sudden braking. Make sure your car is not too hot, as the temperature could damage the cake. Always have the airconditioning running.

IMPORTANT - Unfortunately once you take possession of your cake, a number of factors relating to its care and transportation may result in its quality being compromised. Kathryn's Cake Creations will not take responsibility for any damage occurred during transportation by customers.
To ensure that your speciality cake arrives to its destination safely you can choose to use our delivery and set up service for an additional cost. Please ask for delivery charges.
